ILLINOIS STATE HOUSE DISTRICT 62: Yingling Updates Residents on End of Spring Session and Gets Feedback for Future Work

62

Illinois State House District 62 issued the following announcement on June 7

State Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, held a meet and greet at the Panera in Round Lake Beach on Saturday, June 8, to meet with constituents and listen to their concerns, ideas and questions about state and local government. With the spring legislative session wrapped up, Yingling wants to ensure that all residents have a clear understanding about what policies passed, as well as get their feedback on what additional changes they would like to see.

“This year, my top priority was to make sure that middle-class families can thrive in Illinois, which is why I supported requiring millionaires and billionaires to pay their fair share, a balanced budget that cuts waste and helps pay the state pay down old bills, and a plan that invests in our infrastructure,” said Yingling. “Now that the spring session is finished, it is important that residents understand what was passed and how it will impact them.”
