2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in zip code 60030?

There were seven offenders released on parole during 2018 that live near Illinois zip code 60030, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Lake County Gazette.

The data shows that six men and one woman were released in the Grayslake zip code. The median age of the parolees was 26. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man convicted of a crime against a person in 2018, and the oldest was a 34-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Deshawn Boyd. He was convicted of a property crime in 2014, when he was 20 years old. He is now 25.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
