Deerfield Park District issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
There is now a donation box in the main lobby of Sachs Recreation Center and Jewett Park Community Center for the Cradles to Crayons Organization. Cradles to Crayons was founded in 2002, with the mission of providing children ages 0-12 some of the most important basics of life, free of charge. Items will be accepted through Saturday, October 19th at 1pm.
Most needed items include the following:
New or Gently Used:
- Winter Coats and Warm Clothing
- sizes newborn to adult medium
- Winter Boots
- sizes infant/ toddler 5 to adult 10
- Toys for infants and ages 7-12
- Baby Board Books
- Pajamas
- sizes 2T to adult medium
