Deerfield Park District issued the following announcement on April 1.
Beginning March 31, 2020, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker extended the Illinois stay-at-home order through April 30, 2020. To assist with social distancing compliance, Deerfield Park District has added additional measures for the safety and well-being of those visiting Deerfield parks. We realize that it may be difficult to explain to your young children the depth and magnitude of the importance of social distancing. We hope our measures will help ease the burden of explanation for you and instill that uniform compliance helps signify the worldwide state of caution. We are proud to assist in flattening the curve.
We encourage everyone to follow local, county, state and federal websites for updates and information relating to the COVID-19 virus.
We also encourage you to check deerfieldparks.org/news and Deerfield Park District and Sachs Recreation Center Facebook pages for information relating to district facilities and activities. We have been posting numerous links, interactive fitness programming and recreational activities to help you stay busy, healthy and active.
