Big Hollow School District 38 Board met March 5.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
1. Call to Order:
The special meeting of the Board of Education was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Middle School Library.
Roll Call:
The following members were in attendance: Cernuska, Enters, Kueter, Lyons, Mazur, Pedersen, Plescia
The following members were absen: None
The following members of administration were present: None
2. Pledge of Allegiance:
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
3. Pandemic Planning Committee:
The Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and creating a committee was discussed. 2 board members, administration and representatives from each school will serve on this committee. The board members that volunteered to serve on the committee are Kevin Lyons and Doug Pedersen.
4. Public Comments:
There were no public comments
5. Move to Closed Session:
A motion was made by Cernuska and seconded by Kueter to move to closed session at 6:38 p.m.
Motion carried.

Nay: None
6. Return to Open Session:
A motion was made by Kueter and seconded by Enters to exit closed session and return to open session at 7:45 p.m. Motion carried.

7. Approve the Superintendent Contract for 2020-2025:
A motion was made by Cernuska and seconded by Enters to approve the superintendent contract as discussed in closed session for the school years 2020-2025. Motion carried.
Aye: Cernuska, Enters, Kueter, Lyons, Mazur, Pedersen, Plescia
Nay: None
8. Adjournment:
A motion was made by Cernuska and seconded by Pedersen to adjourn the meeting at 7:49 p.m. on Thursday, March 5th. Motion carried.
