Deerfield School District 109 recently issued the following announcement.
Tonight, the Deerfield Public Schools District 109 Reopening Committee is holding a virtual community update to let all involved with the school district and the greater Deerfield community hear the latest on their work and planning for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be hosted on Zoom due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions that are still in place by the Governor of Illinois. You can find a link to the meeting here.
Each of the chairs of the seven subcommittees (In-Person Learning, E-Learning, Physical Health & Safety, Transportation, Social/Emotional Well-being, Activities/Extracurriculars, and Building Infrastructure/Custodial will present what their groups are working on.
Questions are welcomed and encouraged! You will be able to submit them in writing via a chat feature in the meeting and then committee members will answer as many as possible in the time given.
