Analysis: Round Lake Park pays $44.33 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Round Lake Park Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 97.5 percent of the $4,256,758 the Round Lake Park Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $44.33 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Round Lake Park contributed $4,149,236 to the fund, which saw a $3,931,709 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $93,578, or 2.2 percent, in 2018. Another $13,944 came from other unspecified sources.
