Analysis: Park City pays $4.67 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Park City Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 82.4 percent of the $437,020 the Park City Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.67 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Park City contributed $360,000 to the fund, which saw a $119,949 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $77,021, or 17.6 percent, in 2018.
