Analysis: Lincolnshire pays $3.78 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lincolnshire-Riverwood FPD Firefighters Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.4 percent of the $1,944,185 the Lincolnshire-Riverwood FPD Firefighters Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.78 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lincolnshire contributed $1,523,775 to the fund, which saw a $100,916 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $402,829, or 20.7 percent, in 2018. Another $17,581 came from other unspecified sources.
