Analysis: Lincolnshire pays $4.13 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Lincolnshire Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.8 percent of the $1,065,797 the Lincolnshire Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $4.13 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Lincolnshire contributed $850,296 to the fund, which saw a $42,622 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $205,423, or 19.3 percent, in 2018. Another $10,078 came from other unspecified sources.
