High-risk residents are those having 3 or more risk factors, such as being 65 or older, low income, disabled, lacking health insurance or having serious preexisting conditions.
Half of all residents in Lake County had one to two risk factors, and, on average, 26% of county residents have no risk factors, according to the bureau.
A county where 30% of the population has three or more risk factors is considered at high risk during the COVID-19 pandemic.
