Illinois State House District 61 issued the following announcement on July 27.
Unemployment benefits may be decreasing. The temporary $600 per week increase is set to expire this week. As such, individuals may receive a smaller unemployment benefits going forward. If you or someone you know is in need of food, please consider applying for assistance from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or visiting one of our local food pantries.
