Illinois State House District 61 issued the following announcement on Aug. 10
At 9:00 a.m. today, applications open for the State of Illinois Emergency Rental Assistance program for people with trouble paying their rent during the COVID Emergency. Eligibility criteria and details are posted on this page. Applications close on August 21. An Emergency Mortgage Assistance program will be announced soon. For additional assistance you may also call IHDA’s call center at (312) 883-2720, or toll-free at (888) 252-1119. For those who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired, please contact Navicore Solutions for free assistance at (877) 274-4309 (TTY).
