Village of Libertyville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met June 23.

Commissioner BORGSTROM called to order the meeting of the Village of Libertyville Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 5:00 PM in the ADMINISTRATIVE CONFERENCE ROOM at the Libertyville FIRE Department at 1551 N Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville. Those present on a Roll Call were Commissioners BORGSTROM, LASKA and WEIL.
Noting that the meeting had been properly noticed, and a quorum present, the Commission continued with business before it.
APPROVAL of MINUTES
Commissioner LASKA presented Minutes of the Boards 6-22-2020 meeting and moved to approve the minutes as presented. Seconded by Commissioner WEIL the motion PASSED on a UNANIMOUS Voice vote.
FIRE ENTRY LEVEL INTERVIEWS
The Commission conducted individual interviews with FIRE Entry-Level Candidates per the schedule arranged by the department.
FIRE ENTRY-LEVEL ORAL EXAMINATIONS
The Commission noted that on 6/15, 6/16, 6/22, and 6/23 it conducted ORAL Examinations of TWENTY-ONE (21) Entry-Level candidates per the schedule arranged by the department. TWO (2) candidates were FAILED by the Commission, and NINETEEN (19) were issued a numerical score. The Commission confirmed and correlated scores of the Candidates.
Commissioner WEIL moved to direct the Secretary to transmit the Oral Examination results (scores) to the Department for development of an Initial Eligibility list. Seconded by Commissioner LASKA, the motion carried on a unanimous voice vote.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business before the Commission, Commissioner LASKA moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:58 PM. Seconded by Commissioner WEIL, the motion carried on a UNANIMOUS voice vote.
