State Rep. Joyce Mason (D-Gurnee) recently filed a police report saying a Trump sticker had been placed on her vehicle along with a note accusing her of misusing government property.

“Were watching you and taking picture of your misuse of the gov car,” the note read, according to a police report.

The report also stated a Biden magnet had been removed from the back of the car and a Trump sticker attached in its place.

Mason told police the car is her personal property despite displaying government license plates. Government vehicles are disallowed from displaying campaign material.

In the police report, Mason implicated a group of unknown individuals who has been sitting in their car as she entered the park.

Mason is is facing Republican Dan Yost in the November election. In 2018, she managed a narrow win against Republican Sheri Jesiel.
