Illinois State House District 53 issued the following announcement on Oct. 17
As we approach Veterans Day next month, do consider donating new household items to Military Outreach USA for veterans exiting homelessness.
Donations can be made at the Arlington Heights American Legion Post 208 at 121 N Douglas Ave., or at the Palatine American Legion Post 690 located at 122 W Palatine Rd. Donations can be dropped off between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. at either location, and the list of needed items is below. Thank you in advance for helping our heroes.
