City of Park City City Council Met Oct. 1.

Here is the minutes provided by the council:

The City of Park City held its regular Council meeting at City Hall, 3355 Belvidere Road, Park City, Illinois. Mayor Steve Pannell called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

RECITED PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

CALL TO ORDER – Mayor Pannell

ROLL CALL – Attorney Karlovics

Present: Aldermen Telle, Dennis, Ortega, Bibian, Hart, Eaker

In Attendance: Mayor Steve Pannell, Inspector Bernard Pondextor, City Attorney Peter Karlovics, City Engineer Ken Magnus

Absent: City Clerk Dirzo

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:

Mike Tryga – 597 Thorndale – concern with cars parking on Wilson & Cornell for months at a time.

Fred Morgan – 622 Wilson Ave –

Chris Sandoval – 553 Rosedale Ave – Grass cutting issues, speeding concerns Marina Sandoval – 553 Rosedale Ave – stop signs at Lake Park & Rosedale Renee Solano – 4112 Cornell Ave - Landscapers

Lucila Carballido – 370 Devonshire Ln – speed bumps

Paula Carballido – 2530 S Admiral Dr , Great Lakes, IL – parking wrong way 

Kathy Dever – 564 Wilson Ave – parking lot

Darlyn Wittig – 566 Wilson Ave – parking lot

Andreina Rodriguez – 3902 Cornell Ave – speed bumps

Michael Robinson – 3873 Devonshire Ln – parking, speeding

Evaristo Alday – 3955 Cornell Ave – ditch draining, trees

Lana Kerosovaksnee – 316 Greenview – landscape trucks

Pedro Dominguez – 3849 Devonshire Ln – parking, limited parkway

Elvia Sanchez – 3950 Cornell Ave – driveway, holes

Ramiro & Rosalinda Saldivar – 4133 Everett Place – no comment

Favi Ramirez – 351 Bedford Ct – parking by permits, notify dog owners to pick up poop. Alderwoman Hart exited Regular Council Meeting at 8:19pm.

Motioned by Alderman Dennis and seconded by Alderman Telle to Approve Consideration of the Consent Agenda by Omnibus Vote, items A through B:

Ayes: 5 Aldermen: Telle, Dennis, Ortega, Bibian, Eaker

Nays: 0

Motion Passed

A. Approval of Regular Council Meeting Minutes – September 17th, 2020 B. Reading and Approval of Bills Payable – October 1st, 2020

It was motioned by Alderman Eaker and seconded by Alderman Bibian to approve item A of the Consent Agenda and table Item B for next council meeting.

Ayes: 5 Aldermen: Telle, Dennis, Ortega, Bibian, Eaker

Nays: 0

COMMITTEE REPORTS

A. WATER AND SEWER COMMITTEE – CHAIRMAN DENNIS

A. WORKING ON BID FOR TRUCK MAYOR AGREED IF ANYONE HAS ANY OBJECTIONS TO LOCATING TRUCK AND ORDERING IT – NO OBJECTIONS, WILL BE PLACE ON FUTURE AGENDA.

B. LICENSE AND FINANCE COMMITTEE – CHAIRMAN BIBIAN – NO REPORT C. PARKS AND RECREATION – LIAISON – ALDERWOMAN ORTEGA A. RAISED ISSUE OF DISTRIBUTING TOYS TO KIDS IN NEED WITHIN THE CITY, ALSO CONSIDERING HOSTING FARMERS MARKET.

STAFF, OFFICERS. AND COUNCIL MEMBERS COMMENTS:

A. POLICE CHIEF – Walter Holderbaum – NO REPORT

B. ENGINEER – Kenneth Magnus – NO REPORT

C. BUILDING DEPARTMENT & PUBLIC WORKS – Mayor Pannell – No Report

D. CITY ATTORNEY – Peter Karlovics – NO REPORT

E. ALDERMEN

BIBIAN: ISSUES AT THE PARK HAVE SUBSIDED SINCE THERE HAS BEEN MORE POLICE PRESENCE.

EAKER: COMED LIGHT BETWEEN KEHM AND BARB IS FLICKERING, COMED TO BE NOTIFIED FOR REPAIRS

DENNIS: ISSUES WITH PARKING TO BE DISCUSSED AT NEXT MEETING, FLYERS TO GO OUT TO ALL PARK CITY RESIDENTS.

F. CITY CLERK – NO REPORT

G. CITY TREASURER - ABSENT
