1. Call to Order

Chair Simpson called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m.

Present 7 - Vice Chair Altenberg, Member Barr, Member Casbon, Member Cunningham, Member Maine, Member Roberts and Chair Simpson

Chair Simpson stated she was happy to see 12 - 15 year olds get vaccinated. 7. Unfinished Business

A motion was made by Member Casbon, seconded by Member Cunningham, that the minutes be approved. The motion carried by the following vote:

REGULAR AGENDA

8.2 21-0873

COVID-19 Update.

Mark Pfister, Health Department Executive Director, gave an update on COVID-19. Director Pfister clarified the masking requirements and that Lake County is following the CDC, IDPH and the Governor's guidelines. Discussion ensued.

8.3 21-0861

Joint resolution authorizing a five-year renewal of a delegation agreement through an Intergovernmental Delegation Agreement between the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) and Lake County for the solid waste management site inspection and enforcement program.

Michael Adams, Deputy Director of Environmental Health, gave an overview of the agreement between Lake County and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. The agreement gives the authority to Environmental Health to inspect the solid waste facilities. No discussion ensued.

A motion was made by Member Maine, seconded by Member Casbon, that this resolution be approved and referred on to the Financial and Administrative Committee. Motion carried by the following roll call vote:

Aye: 7 - Vice Chair Altenberg, Member Barr, Member Casbon, Member Cunningham, Member Maine, Member Roberts and Chair Simpson

Chair Simpson declared the meeting adjourned at 11:09 a.m.
