About this event
Start Holy Week with a Holy Hour and an evening of Lenten reflection with Father John Kartje, rector of Mundelein Seminary. Join us in the beautiful Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, April 11 at 6 p.m.
The Holy Hour will begin at 6 p.m., using the historic monstrance that was a gift from Pope Pius XI to Cardinal Mundelein for the 1926 International Eucharistic Congress that concluded on the seminary grounds. The monstrance has been touring parishes across the Archdiocese of Chicago for Holy Hours for Vocations as part of our centennial celebration.
Father John Kartje's remarks will begin at 7 p.m.
The campus bookstore and Welcome Center will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Our address is 1000 E. Maple Ave., Mundelein, IL 60060. Please enter our campus from Route 45. If you are using a GPS, entering “US-45 & University, Mundelein, IL 60048” will help you arrive at the correct gate. Follow the signs to the Purple Parking Lot that is located adjacent to the Welcome Center and the chapel.
