Joint resolution accepting the Illinois Department of Natural Resources grant and authorizing an emergency appropriation in the amount of $72,000 for the Zebra/Quagga Mussels grant.
Mark Pfister, Health Department Executive Director, provided an overview of the funding to combat the Zebra/Quagga Mussels in Lake County lakes.
A motion was made by Member Casbon, seconded by Member Maine, that this item be approved and referred on to the Financial and Administrative Committee. The motion carried unanimously.

Joint resolution accepting the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency contract and authorizing an emergency appropriation in the amount of $5,850 for the Solid Waste Enforcement contract.
Mark Pfister, Health Department Executive Director, provided an overview of the additional funding to use from the Solid Waste Enforcement contract.
A motion was made by Member Maine, seconded by Vice Chair Altenberg, that this resolution be approved and referred on to the Financial and Administrative Committee. The motion carried by the following voice vote.

Joint resolution approving the Program Year (PY) 2022 United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Annual Action Plan (AAP) and authorizing an emergency appropriation in the amount of $188,162.41
Brenda O'Connell, provided an overview of the funding process for the Annual Action Plan and gave a summary of the funded projects. Discussion ensued.
A motion was made by Member Ross Cunningham, seconded by Vice Chair Altenberg, that this resolution be approved and referred on to the Financial and Administrative Committee. The motion carried by the following voice vote.
