On Tuesday, Aug. 22, State Sen. Dan McConchie (R-Lake Zurich) held a 'Conversations Untapped' event at Uncle D's Bar and Grille located at 380 West Liberty Street in Wauconda.
“Thank you to everyone who braved the heat and came out last night to Uncle D’s in Wauconda for my Conversations Untapped!” McConchie said on Facebook.
“We had a great conversation about public safety and crime prevention in our area.”
The 'Conversations Untapped' series has become a valuable platform for constituents to connect with their elected official and voice their opinions on matters that affect them.
The event aimed to foster open and engaging conversations between McConchie and the local community.
It provided an opportunity for residents to discuss their concerns, ideas and questions directly with their state senator in an informal and welcoming setting.
