State Representative Tom Weber (R-Lake Villa) is teaming up with the Johnsburg Public Library and Versiti to host a Season of Giving Blood Drive. The event, which aims to support local food pantries during the holiday season, will take place at the Johnsburg Public Library on Wednesday, December 6, from 2 to 6 p.m.

According to Representative Weber, "The Season of Giving Blood Drive is an opportunity for our community to come together and make a difference. By donating blood and contributing non-perishable food items, we can help those in need and spread holiday cheer."

The Versiti mobile blood drive bus will be stationed in the library parking lot, ready to receive prospective donors. While appointments are preferred, walk-ins will be accepted if capacity allows. Representative Weber encourages everyone to "hop on the Jingle Bus and save lives by donating blood this holiday season."
