Officer Marina Chernikovich of the Lake Forest Police Department was recently recognized as the 2023 Most Valuable Evidence Technician by the Lake County Major Crime Task Force.
According to a post on the Lake Forest Police Department's Facebook page, Chernikovich is required to be on call around the clock to process scenes involving serious incidents such as homicides, officer-related shootings, child abductions, and others across Lake County. The post highlighted her significant contribution in ensuring justice for the community.
