Illinois Republican Candidate: ‘I'm seeing a perspective of voters’

Jim Carris, Illinois 10th District Republican Candidate, said he sees renewed energy and motivation among voters, including independents and moderate Democrats, driven by economic issues and the need for change. Carris was on a recent episode of the Lake Forest podcast.

"I'm seeing an energy, though, now that I haven't seen in quite some time," said Carris on the Lake Forest podcast. “I'm seeing a perspective of voters and, not just with Republican voters, but with independents and soft Democrats, if you will. Reasonable Democrats are saying we need a change. We can't have this anymore and it's on those issues of the economy.”

“It's a matter of us having good candidates,” said Carris. “I think we've got a really great slate of candidates who are getting the word out. We're unified as far as working together, trying to motivate people, and pulling back the curtain on the problems that exist."
