Rep. Tom Weber and the Johnsburg Library are organizing a blood drive in collaboration with Versiti to address the critical blood shortage currently affecting Illinois. The event will take place on Thursday, July 25, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Johnsburg Public Library located at 3000 N Johnsburg Rd, Johnsburg, IL 60051. The blood drive will be held in a bus parked in the library's parking lot.
Walk-ins are welcome; however, appointments are preferred. Participants can schedule an appointment through the provided link. Donors will receive a limited-edition Versiti towel while supplies last.
Potential donors are advised to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water before donating. A photo ID is required for participation.
