Buffalo Grove will hold its Veterans Day celebration on Nov. 11. | Village of Buffalo Grove
The Village of Buffalo Grove Park District is set to host the Village's Veterans Day Celebration on Monday, November 11, at the Community Arts Center.
According to a news release from the Village, the event invites veterans, their families, and friends to participate in the celebration. A reception is scheduled from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., followed by a program at 1:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Community Arts Center located at 225 McHenry Road, Buffalo Grove.
The release states that the VFW Post 981 Color Guard will be responsible for presenting and removing the Colors and will also conduct a special Armed Services Flag presentation. The celebration will feature speeches and military music, with lunch served prior to the program.
