Glenview Middle School announces weekly menu and upcoming events

Glenview Middle School has announced its menu for the week, featuring Walking Taco’s, Chicken Chili Tortillas, Taco Fiesta Beans, Baby Whole Carrots, Mixed Green Salad, Applesauce, and Strawberries.

From February 10th through February 14th, IJAG will be selling Black History bracelets and heart-to-heart sucker grams for $1.00 each in the cafeteria during all lunch times.

Former and current mariachi players are invited to a Jam Session with Dr. Minard and Ms. Hill at Glenview on Thursday, Feb. 20th. Participants can sign up in the General Office and note if they need a sack lunch. The field trip group will bus over to Glenview at 10:45 am and return to UT around 12:40 pm.

A student council meeting is scheduled for this Friday at 7:30 am in room 109S to discuss the Dance Marathon and other activities. Ink Master's Arts Club will meet Wednesday and Thursday this week but not on Tuesday.

UT FCA will hold a meeting in the girl’s gym on Tuesday, February 18th at 7:20 am for faith-based fellowship. Foster’s Voice meeting is set for Thursday at 7 am in gym A to discuss Kindness Week.

For students considering Western Illinois University, the application fee is waived now through February 28th. Seniors interested in Midwest Technical Institute can meet with college representative Ms. Carla Arnold during third period today after signing up in the Guidance Office.

Volunteers are needed for Unity Point Health's Blossoms & Brunch event on May 2nd and May 3rd at Rhythm City Casino & Hotel in Davenport, IA. Interested students should contact Mr. Davis.

The Girls Bowling team finished seventh at Regionals last Friday with Rilynn Birdsley and Madeline Willers qualifying for Sectionals as individual competitors.
