Riverwoods now offers an option for automatic payments of water and sewer bills, providing a convenient solution for residents looking to streamline their utility bill payments.

To register for automatic payments starting with your next bill, follow the instructions below. For detailed registration instructions with corresponding screenshots, please visit the provided link.

How to Set Up Automatic Payments for Utility Billing:

1. Go to Riverwoods.gov

2. Click on "Pay Bills and Citations"

3. Enter your account number under the “Getting Started” section (located on your utility bill)

4. Enter your PIN number (located on your utility bill)

5. Click on "Make Payment"

6. Click on "Register Account"

7. Register with your first name, last name, email address, and set up a password

8. Click the radio button for Recurring Payments to turn on automatic payments

9. Optionally, click the “SMS” radio button if you want to receive text messages when your payment is going to be taken out

10. Add a new payment method

11. Click “I agree to the terms and conditions”

12. Save recurring payments

Payments will be processed on the due date.

Please note that when automatic payments are processed, you will be charged the full amount due from your account. If there is a previous balance, it will also be included in the charge.
