Zion Elementary School District 6 (ZESD 6) hosted a Career and Technical Education (CTE) event on Thursday evening at Zion Central Middle School (ZCMS). The gathering featured vendors and professionals from various local career fields who shared insights about their roles in the community. The event also highlighted student projects from CTE classes, showcasing the skills they have been developing.
Dr. Keely Roberts, Superintendent of Schools, said, “We are thrilled to host this event and provide our students with an opportunity to explore different career paths. It’s inspiring to see the hard work our students have put into their projects. ”
The showcase included presentations from several local businesses and organizations, offering students a glimpse into potential career opportunities within their community.
