11. Unfinished Business
11.1. Consideration of an ordinance implementing a municipal grocery retailers occupation tax and a municipal grocery service occupation tax.
Motion made by Alderman Peterson seconded by Alderman Hospodarsky. All present voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.
11.2. Consideration of an Ordinance increasing the City of Highwood’s Home Rule Sales Tax by ¼ percent.
Motion made by Alderman Peterson seconded by Alderman Fiore. All present voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.
12. New Business
12.1. Consideration to authorize the Mayor to execute an agreement with Cizek Consulting Inc. to provide water system operator services to Highwood for the next three years.
Motion made by Alderman Hospodarsky seconded by Alderman Fiore. All present voting aye, by roll call vote, motion carried.
12.2. Consideration of an ordinance amending the comprehensive fee schedule to create the lead service line compliance charge and increase water rate to $5.65 per 100 cubic feet.
No action will be taken on this item. This topic will be discussed at a future meeting.
