Hainesville has announced that yard waste collection for single-family homes will run from April 1 to November 30. Collection will occur on the same day as refuse and recycling services.
Residents are advised to place yard waste in biodegradable "Kraft" type bags, not exceeding 33 gallons in size or 50 pounds in weight. Metal or plastic cans may also be used for disposal.
If landscape waste cannot be reasonably placed in bags or cans, it must be securely tied with biodegradable string or twine into bundles. These bundles should not exceed four feet in length, 24 inches in diameter, and 50 pounds in weight.
