Coal City Middle School students have become published authors with their new book titled, “If you give a middle schooler…”
The book features stories written by 17 students, each accompanied by original illustrations.
“The kids are so excited about the book that we wrote,” said teacher Angela Roudis.
To celebrate the student authors and illustrators, teachers Mrs. Roudis, Miss DeKruiff, and Miss Lange hosted a book party on Friday, April 11. Several members of the school and administrative staff attended to recognize the students' outstanding work and to read their original stories.
