The Village has announced the opening of the Renew & Recycle Room, a new sustainable space located inside Village Hall in the repurposed former postal substation. This initiative aims to provide residents with various eco- friendly resources.
The Renew & Recycle Room offers several services including:
- Reuse-a-Shoe Drop off - Prescription Drug Disposal - Sharps Container Drop Off - Seed Library - Food Pantry Donations - Reusable Bag Station
In addition, the room features a self-service cardboard box exchange, allowing residents to drop off or pick up cardboard boxes for reuse.
"The Village is proud to offer this space, which promotes sustainability and encourages green practices in the community," said a representative.
