UTHS announces upcoming events and deadlines for students

Announcement from UTHS on April 22, 2025:

GENERAL INFORMATION:

- Walking Taco’s

- Chicken Chili Tortillas

- Mixed Green Salad

- Taco Fiesta Beans

- Strawberries

- Applesauce

Students are reminded that all prom guest forms need to be submitted to student services by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 30th. The guest's ID must be stapled to the signed form. Forms can be picked up in student services or the general office.

The ABC countdown will begin this Thursday with "A for Adam Sandler" and Friday will be "B for Barbecue Dads vs. Soccer Moms. " Students are encouraged to participate and add some fun to the final 26 school days.

GUIDANCE:

Seniors needing to complete FAFSA are invited to attend a workshop in the UT Commons on Thursday, April 24th from 6-7 pm. Parents are welcome to attend. Check your email for a list of items to bring and consult your counselor if you have any questions.

CLUBS:

The LGBT+ club will have a short meeting after school on Wednesday, April 23rd in Miss Williams' room 125E to plan their end-of-year get-together. New students are always welcome.

Foster’s Voice will meet this Thursday at 7 am in gym A as part of Mental Health Awareness Month. Participants can learn more about mental health awareness while enjoying donuts with friends.

The H.O.P.E. Club invites everyone to be “Active for April” with these events at UT:

- Walking group every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:00 PM, meeting in the Guidance Office.

- Yoga session on Wednesday, April 23rd from 3:15-4:00 PM in the Wrestling Room

- Panther Pant on Wednesday, April 23rd at 5:30 PM

Participants should track their activity using the QR code on this month’s Toilet Times newsletter for a chance to win a Spring Gift Card Bouquet.

Student council is seeking volunteers for the annual Panther Pan on Wednesday April 23rd at either 3:30 or 4:45 PM. Interested individuals should contact Morgan Roman or Mrs. Colgan.

A student council meeting is scheduled for Friday in Mr. Welch's room, 109S, at 7:30 AM to discuss various topics including ABC Countdown and Exec Board applications.

All Student Council executive board applications are due by Tuesday, April 29th to Mrs. Colgan in room 172N. All positions are open for those with ideas they would like to implement next year.

Gearheads will meet today at 3:15 PM in Auto Body.
