United Township High School District shares updates on events and resources for new school year

United Township High School District 30 released several announcements for students and staff on August 27, 2025. The cafeteria menu includes meatloaf with a whole grain dinner roll, breaded chicken leg with a whole grain dinner roll, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, and assorted fresh fruit.

Students interested in attending a musical event at the Adler Theatre in Davenport, Iowa, on November 8 can contact Mr. Davis, the College & Career Advisor. Student tickets are available at no cost.

The East Moline Public Library will offer limited UT Panther edition library cards during September to mark Library Card Sign Up Month. These cards are only for East Moline Library cardholders and can be obtained by visiting the library or applying online starting September 1.

Seniors have an opportunity to meet with the ISAC representative regarding FAFSA from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27. Students should sign up in the Guidance Office to speak with Ms. DeTombe or see their school counselor or Mr. Davis if they have questions.

A pre-season meeting for girls interested in basketball is scheduled for Thursday, August 28 after school at 3:15 p.m. in Gym A. Coach Pavelonis will provide information about open gyms and details about the upcoming season.

The H.O.P.E. Club meets this week on Wednesday from 3:15 to 5:00 p.m. in room 189V; students can contact Ms. CJ in the Counseling Office with questions.

Student Council will meet Friday morning at 7:30 in room 109S to discuss homecoming plans.
