Residents of Lockport, Illinois, are invited to participate in a community workshop aimed at shaping the future of Greater Downtown Lockport. The event will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Roxy Lockport located at 1017 S State St. The open house is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 PM.
The workshop promises to be a family-friendly affair with prize drawings and complimentary food and drinks provided by Healthy Sins, a vegan café. Children can enjoy a coloring table set up by local downtown businesses.
Lockport School District 91 serves as the backdrop for this community initiative. The district encompasses Kelvin Grove Junior High School and Milne Grove Elementary School in Will County.
