Zion elementary hosts instrument fitting night for fourth graders

Fourth-grade students from Elmwood and West Elementary participated in Zion Elementary School District 6’s Instrument Fitting Night, an event aimed at introducing young learners to music. The evening allowed families and students from different grade levels to connect while exploring musical instruments for the first time.

The event was designed to help students begin their journey in music education, offering them a chance to discover various instruments and consider future participation in school music programs.

Zion Elementary School District 6 includes several schools in Lake County: Beulah Park Elementary School, East Elementary School, Elmwood Elementary School, Lakeview School, Shiloh Park Elementary School, West Elementary School, and Zion Central Middle School.
