The City of Lake Forest's Building Review Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 220 E. Deerpath, to discuss the details of a proposed housing project on Laurel and Western Ave. Public comment is welcome.
Representatives from Focus Development, the planners behind the project, will be available before the meeting, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., with display models and will answer questions from attendees.
The proposed development includes three apartment buildings, two condo complexes and several smaller buildings.
Beyond the Review Board, a final site plan and plat of subdivision will be considered by the Plan Commission. No date has been set for the commission's final review. The final recommendations of both the board and commission will be presented to the City Council for final action at the end of the review process.
