A portion of Allanson Road east of the railroad tracks in Mundelein will be closed for up to two weeks while West Shore Pipeline repairs the portion of its pipeline that runs through this area.
The company notified village officials that the work would begin on Nov. 3.
Access to businesses and residences east and west of the tracks will only be possible through roadways west of the tracks.
West Shore Pipeline, not the village, will assume all costs associated with the repairs.
