Assessing signage, site plans, staff and streetscape scenarios, the Lake Bluff Architectural Board of Review met 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Village Hall boardroom.
Following call to order and roll call, the board reviewed and approved minutes from its Jan. 5 meeting.
Public comments from visitors were addressed, with individuals granted up to 3 minutes each to address the board on any non-agenda items. All subsequent matters were addressed as part of a public hearing.
Agenda items consisted of three site plans to review exterior design changes and signage for a coffee shop (Hansa Coffee Roasters at 600 Walnut Ave.), proposed changes at Lake Bluff Middle School (31 E. Sheridan Place) as well as changes to paddle court light fixtures at Blair Park (355 W. Washington Ave.).
The board also considered a permit for political campaign signage (Dold for Congress) at 999 Sherwood Drive, possible streetscape improvements to the intersection of Scranton and Center Avenues and updates to building codes.
The Staff Report announced that a workshop meeting will take place Feb. 9, with the next regular meeting set for March 1.
With no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
