The Lincolnshire Village Board stripped a local eatery of its liquor license recently.

The board canceled Simon Lin’s Asian Bistro LLC's Class “B” liquor license.

Representatives of the CDW Office Center, formerly known as the Tri-State International Office Center, also asked for a special-use amendment to install a comprehensive signage package.

The 559,204-square-foot office park is at the interchange of Tri-State Tollway and Route 22 (Half-Day Road). With its address listed as 25-300 Tri-State International, the complex consists of five office buildings on 41 acres with landscaped features including two ponds covering more than 6 acres, jogging trails, a gazebo and picnic areas.

Two additional items on the meeting agenda for Feb. 22 centered on requests from Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103. One ordinance involved granting special use and rezoning for Half Day School at 239 Olde Half Day Road. The district wishes to have the building reclassified from R1 to B1.

A special-use permit for Laura Sprague Elementary School at 2425 Riverwoods Road was also addressed.

The board also voted on Lincolnshire's request for approving appropriations necessary to pay for all expenditures required by the village for fiscal year 2016.

Additionally, the board discussed a request to transfer maintenance responsibility for a traffic signal near Sedgebrook, a nursing and personal care community at 800 Audubon Way.
