CPS board candidate: Planned Parenthood ‘was historically created to eradicate the Black people out of America’

Lanetta M. Thomas, candidate for the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Board of Education District 9, said she connected with Zoe from Chicago Flips Red after seeing her on TikTok “telling the truth,” and during her campaign, she claimed Planned Parenthood was created to “eradicate the Black people out of America” and noted it asked her to support extensive LGBTQ history in CPS schools.

“I got involved with CFR because during my campaign for school board, I was watching," said Thomas on the Lake Forest podcast. “I was on TikTok, and I don't like TikTok, though. Just Zoe happens to come up on my For You, and I messaged her. I was like, thanks for telling the truth, because I don't know what she was saying, but it was talking about how corrupt the city was going.”

“I witnessed firsthand during my campaign how Planned Parenthood, which was historically created to eradicate the Black people out of America—that's what it was created for," said Thomas. “Planned Parenthood sent me an email and asked me to say that I will allow for extensive LGBTQ history to be taught in CPS schools.”
