To review road rehabilitation issues, traffic concerns, speed signage and regular agenda items, the Libertyville Board of Trustees Streets Committee convened at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Village Hall at 118 W. Cook Ave.
Foremost on the committee’s to-do list were updates on the 2016 road program and the 2017 planned pavement rehabilitation program.
The trustees reviewed updates for a flashing pedestrian crossing sign and the establishment of a school zone at the intersection of Route 176 and Dymond Road, traffic concerns along Sunnyside Avenue and the junction of School Street and Milwaukee Avenue.
Additionally, the committee discussed the latest information on an electronic speed display sign for vehicles along with sidewalk snow removal.
The Streets Committee approved minutes from its previous meeting on Jan. 26 and heard other business prior to adjournment.
