Convening for their regular monthly meeting, the officials of Lake Villa gathered at 8 p.m. Wednesday to conduct routine business and plot progress on pending public matters.
Following the approval of minutes from two previous meetings, the board retired into an executive session.
Once the meeting was reconvened, Finance Chairman James McDonald delivered a report on accounts payable for the periods of March 9 and March 23 in addition to presentations from Water and Sewer Chair Karen Harms and Roads and Streets Liaison Jeff Nielsen.
Kevin Kruckeberg, who heads planning, property and parks for the village, presented an authorization to execute an addendum to an existing contract with 3DDesign pertaining to Mansion Pergola Design Services.
Additionally, James McDonald spoke about public safety, Scott Bartlett presented an ordinance on a public hearing for the downtown redevelopment project in progress and Building and Zoning Chair Kathy Battistone delivered a report.
The board reviewed actions from the Committee of the Whole agenda and solicited public comment prior to adjournment.
