At a meeting this week, the Deerfield Board of Trustees considered a proposal to allow the U.S. Census to perform a partial census in the village.
The board consists of the mayor and six trustees, all of whom are elected for four-year staggered terms and who serve without pay. The board is the legislative body of the village government.
