The sign-up period for the Grayslake Community Park District's youth-volleyball fall league for boys and girls is underway, according to glpd.com.
All teams will be balanced to give everyone a chance to play. Practices are one hour each week, with games held on Saturday beginning Sept. 17.
Fees for registering on or before Aug. 14 are $89 per resident and $111 per nonresident. Fees after Aug. 14 are $99 and $124, respectively.
Evaluations will take place Aug. 15 or 18 at Frederick School, 595 Frederick Road. Grades three and four will be evaluated at 6 p.m., grades five and six will be evaluated at 6:45 p.m., and grades seven and eight will be evaluated at 7:30 p.m.
The paperwork required for all players can be downloaded at glpd.com and filled out. Volunteer coaches are also needed. Paperwork to fill out and return to the GLPD is on the same website. All coaches are required to go through a background check.
