Round Lake Beach Zoning Commission to consider permit request to build pier

At a meeting this week, the Round Lake Beach Planning and Zoning Commission will consider a permit request to install a pier at 19 N. Channel Drive.

II. PUBLIC MEETINGS

A. An application has been filed with Village of Round Lake Beach for a pier installation in the

channel abutting 19 North Channel Drive.

III. PUBLIC HEARINGS

A. Petition request of Papo’s Holdings LLC. for a Special Use Permit for a proposed Papo’s Express

Car Wash at property located in the Village’s C-3 General Business District at 207 W. Rollins

Road.

B. Petitioner has requested to continue public hearing to October 13, 2016.

Continued Public Hearing: petition request of James Price for a special use permit and zoning

variations and departures within the applicable C-3 General Business Zoning District to expand

an existing Self-Storage site located at 880 E. Rollins Road. The proposed facilities include

additional single story self-storage buildings and outdoor storage on 2 vacant acres immediately

west of the existing self-storage buildings.

IV. OTHER BUSINESS/DISCUSSION

A. Possible discussion of potential zoning ordinance text amendments.
