The 2016 Annual Action Plan
The Lake County Consortium has submitted a combined Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that governs the spending of Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG).
A proposed first amendment to the 2016 Annual Action Plan updates the Consortium’s federally funded housing and community development activities for the 2016 program year (May 1, 2016 – April 30, 2017).
The Lake County Housing & Community Development Commission will hold a Public Hearing on October 19, 2016 on this first amendment of the 2016 Action Plan to discuss a range of updates and small program changes. The public comment period is from October 8th to November 7th, 2016.
Public Hearing Information
An important part of the process of developing the Annual Action Plan is citizen participation and input. All interested parties, including citizens, local officials, and agency representatives are invited and urged to attend this Public Hearing. All comments and questions will be considered. Persons in need of special arrangements (translator, specific disabilities, etc.) should contact staff at least three (3) days prior to the meeting date at 847.377.2475.

Plan Availability
The first amendment of the PY2016 Annual Action Plan will be published no later than October 8th and can be viewed on the County’s website at: www.lakecountyil.gov/1944/Action-Plan.
