The Village of Lindenhurst will begin transitioning to a new financial software system on July 31. The change affects the utility billing, building department, and finance operations. To ensure all data is transferred correctly, the existing system will be shut down from July 31 through August 4.
During this period, the Village will not be able to process any payments, including those for utility billing, either online or in person. However, residents can still submit check payments at Village Hall. These checks will be held until processing resumes on August 4.
The transition aims to update and improve how the Village manages its financial and billing operations.
