Warren Township High School golfer Trevor Britton has signed a letter of intent to join the College of Lake County (CLC) program, according to clclancers.com.

According to his profile page on www.ncsasports.org, Britton has won events in Michigan and Naples, Florida, and has twice been runner-up in the conference meet.

This fall, according to ihsa.org, Britton shot a 77 for the third-best score for Warren Township in the regional meet Oct. 4 in Lake Park. Warren Township finished third as a team to advance to the sectional meet Oct. 10 in Mundelein. Britton led the team there with a score of 77.

CLC Head Coach Chris Wyniawskyj said on www.clclancers.com that “we are thrilled and excited” to have Britton join the program.

"With high athletic achievements like earning medalist honors at the Lake County Invite this past fall, with a 2-under-par 70, coupled with his enthusiasm and love for the game, we know he will represent the Lancers well this coming fall on the golf course,” Wyniawskyj said.
